About a 5-minute drive. Both me and the workplace are outside of town on the same side.

Eek Soloist! I hope it's a good job that you have, worth all that trekking.

Ditto that! It's gotta cost at least $20 a day to go up and back! Good ya get some exercise with the walk, but still... that's gotta be the longest commute I've heard of!

Re: How long is your daily commute?
With the bus card that I invest in on a
monthly basis, it costs me only 3
dollars a day, but if I catch
the early bus which is
about 45 minutes
away via walk-
ing, I play
nothin-
g!!
My pr-
oblem is
the time, a-
nd that other b-
us take a bit long-
er to get there. This
is why I wish they'd allo-
w us to bring in ipods/mp3
players/PSP/DS to keep ones
attention during the lengthy co-
mmute. News papers and magazi-
nes are ok, but when other commut-
ers are speaking loudly on their cell ph-
ones, it's difficult to drown out some of t-
hese noises. This is why I tend to have little
time to pursue my many interests these days!!

Re: How long is your daily commute?
Not regular due to being "employed" again on a minijob basis, but if the autobahn isn't jammed up, the drive takes me about 15 minutes. If I had to use public transportation, you could multiply this with 6. This is another reason for me trying to scrape some money for a 50cc scooter.
Re: How long is your daily commute?
When I lived in Alaska I lived 3 miles from work. However, that commute could easily and normally take 15 minutes due to poor traffic light timing and the long line to wait in to get on base because of ID checks at the gate.
