My Mom got my Dad a card that plays his favorite song (Unchained Melody by the Righteous Brothers.) He got her a dozen red roses to be delivered to her at work. She has no clue that he's getting her anything. Since we moved to PA ten years agp, Dad really hasn't had the extra money to get her gifts like he used to. She will be caught completely off guard and surprised.
I remember when my sisters and I were little, he'd buy us flowers. I remember one gift for me that was white carnations arranged as an ice cream sundae complete with a straw, fake sparkly cherry, and sundae glass.

It was really cute.

I could personally not care much less about V-Day, this year or any other, but to those who do, make sure you have a good one.

My Mom sent me a V-Day card yesterday with a chocolate heart and money.
