Please keep DJ Phoenix in your thoughts and prayers. Just received this on myspace and he said it was ok to post this here for his friends at the Roundtable
As some of you who know me real well know, I was looking after my disabled Mother for the past 5-6 years. She was very very sick, despite a few glimpses of looking better, over the past 2 yrs. She had Open Heart Surgery about 4 yrs ago, and, even afterwards, became riddled with some ailment or another. Anyways, This Morning, 2/11/08 @ 5:05 AM, Carole D. Locher(My Beautiful Mother), passed away @ the age of 67. It's hard for me to type this, as I'm still overwhelmed, and shocked. I was w/her Sun(last night) night, and we hung out for about 3 hrs, and watched her favorite show together. From what my sisters and I were told, she went peacefully, and I'm happy with that, as she was bedridden for the latter part of 8 months in physical rehab. I'm glad she won't have to suffer any longer, as it broke my heart to see her like that. I'm glad I was able to see her before she went, as i was the last person she saw last night.
She was a sweet, loving, lady who had a huge heart and loved everyone, and I will miss her dearly. She was the type that would give you the shirt off her back, if you needed it. Say whatever you want, but we only have 1 Mom and 1 Dad & we gotta look out for them.
Tough for me to write this, as I'm overwhelmed and still in shock, she was looking forward to getting out soon(she hoped), and wanted to enjoy life, but, she never got the chance to again.
I love and miss you very much Mom, may you always RIP
