I've never done the restaurant thing alone, but I have gone to see a movie alone. I saw Freddy vs Jason by myself with no shame... no big deal on the movie part, but I think I would feel pretty odd going to a restaurant alone

I enjoyed eating at a restaurant alone. I was new in town and didn't know anyone. But I would try new places that are coming here alone, too.
good company, no arguments, no gossip, etc. lol

Before I was married, I used to do pretty much everything alone. You get used to it and sometimes it is better for me since I'm not really a talker (offline) so it's nice to just eat and go.

I've been to movies by myself all the time. I think it's better that way so I can enjoy the movie and not worry if the person I am with will yap my ear off

I've never ate in a fancy type restaurant alone, but I have ate alone in a Fast Food joint

I don't very often go alone (mainly because the only opportunity for me to go is that the one weekday I don't work—Monday—I usually spend with a friend, and we go together), but I have gone to J-Don's in town alone on several occasions. Never gone to see a movie alone though. Then again, I just don't really hold much interest in movies in general.

I don't go to the theatres anymore. There's too many annoying people. I'd rather enjoy a good movie alone or with friends in a comfortable place. But I'd go alone sometimes if I did. I remember years back, when I was on a date with this (hot guy, he said he goes to the movies alone all the time. I thought, yeah, there's nothing to be embarrassed about. lol

I've never gone ot the movies alone. I have gone to fast food restaurants alone quite a few times though. The only times I've gone to a nice restaurant by myself is if there was a pretty girl working there.
