Whooohooo SABRES!!!!!!!

Post by BlueMolly2006 »

Tonight, the Buffalo Sabres are going for a record!!!!! If they win tonight's game they will have broken a record for being the most nonstop wins in NHL history. So of course I'm excited, even though I'm not a HUGE hockey fan. Let's all pray and send goo thoughts they win!!!!! GO RYAN MILLER!!!!! Whoohoo!!!!

That really amazes me that they can get that kind of a start.

What upsets me though is Dallas lost another game and it bumped them down to 5th in the NHL because of that... BLARG.

The Sabres lost an OT shootout tonight though. So, there are now no undefeated teams in the NHL.

Well, Atlanta beat the Sabres tonight, but the Sabres did tie for the winning streak with ten wins in a row. :D

I still hear people saying that it's too early in the season to tell, which is true I suppose, but . . . you simply can't say that such a great starting record isn't a HUGE asset to their season. Especially in the Eastern conference, which tends to have such a tightly packed race toward the end of the season.

Are you a Sabres fan when you do watch hockey, Molly?

Arg...Ryan Miller's on my fantasy team, and I just HAd to play him while I benched Giguere. Blargfa. Oh well. That was pretty good for a start to the season, even if the team's logo looks like an electrified toupee. Maybe the toupee gives them super strength.
