My mom tells the story of when she went to her senior prom, she borrowed her prom gown from someone. It was white. I'll bet you can see where this is going. Her date took her to a fancy Italian restaurant. A meatball drops off of her fork, plops and rolls all the way down the front of her borrowed dress.

I ALWAYS drop something on me when eating. Especially if it's the first time I've worn the shirt/outfit. Sometimes I can catch the damage before it sets, but USUALLY it's something oily like salad dressing and while the initial stain I can blot out, it always leaves this grease spot that I don't catch until I look at the shirt as I'm folding the things out of the dryer.
That's why I refuse to pay much for my clothes anymore, I know what's gonna happen. *sigh*

DYHIW You alternate between being hot and being cold all within moments of each other. I swear my internal themometer is outta whack.

LOL Patty! I know what you mean! There is nothing more embarrassing than having to leave a restaurant with a huge sauce spot in the middle of your blouse!  Guess there is a trick to remove a stain fast: Apply some baby powder to it and it should suck up most of the oil! Thing is....who carries baby powder around in their purses?

Molly - Indeedy... :1pissed:
