Oooooh that's going to be absolutely beautiful, Troy!!!!!
Are you planning to have Koi and water lilies? Have you considered adding a small tree to give a partial shade to the pond?
Make sure to post more pics to see the progress!!! Congratulations!!

Looking good so far, Troy! Do you plan on
adding a miniature slide for any you-
nger attendees for this pool? T-
his is definitely the best ti-
me to begin work on it
so that completion
may be achiev-
ed in time
for the
seas-
on
!

You should plant a giant palm tree next to it.

Ya know what you could plant around it that would look really beautiful? A laceleaf Japanese Maple and a Hakonechloa grass right next to it.
Looking forward to more pics!

Not sure if I want to plant any trees taht close to it. I would hate for the roots to puncture the liner. I do like the Hakonechloa grass though.
I need to go to lowes plant center when they start getting in all there stock. Lots of pants to look at.
I really want to put a clamatis or 2 on the fence behind the pond. put up some Lattus and let it climb up that and fill out. Would be quite colorfull also.

Actually, the reason why the laceleaf japanese maple is a good choice it's because the roots are very shallow and non invasive.
I just got one myself and love it.
Clematis would make a great addition too. Lowes has a nice selection of those.

Planting is going to be a slow process I think. I have an online order that I am going to get alot of bog and water plants. Stuff for around the pond edge. I want to get another lily or 2 also.
