Sooo....What did YOU BUY this week???

Post by Diabolique »

I thought it'd be fun to make a thread where you could come tell us what you bought this week. It can be about whatever you bought this week. From a DVD to a leaf blower. Just share with us!

This thread can be ongoing, so add your loot here every time you get stuff! ;)

Ohhh that looks like a great one, Wave! :thumb:

So what type of coffee do you favor? Are flavored coffees popular in Germany?

Well, I'm not that much of a coffee drinker - if I have a coffee, it's a café au lait. Basically, that coffee machine is entirely for my fiancée who enjoys a latte macchiato or an espresso quite frequently.

Since I'm not very much into coffee, I really can't say if flavoured coffee is popular here. But we have a lot of coffee shops and cafés, so I guess that a lot of coffee will also be flavoured.

Hmm... what did I buy? Two crates of 900 rounds of Yugoslavian M43 7.9x57mm surplus ammo, and a repro WWI Canadian uniform with 10th Canadian Battalion insignia which I intend to replace with 2nd Canadian Mounted Rifles (British Columbia Dragoons).

If you can count this as "buying", I bought myself consideration for two grad schools. Silly application fees. :o

I bought this last week, but got the fan and Bioshock for it this week.

...

And then this happened. It's no longer mine I guess. :irked:

I bought the current issue of Bitch magazine, a feminist magazine, with my employee discount at Barnes and Noble. I also got the current issue of Total Film that comes with a free Quantum of Solace mouse pad. It turns out that the mouse pad is cheap quality. It has a stiffer but still lasting foam on the bottom, instead of the more gripping kind on real mouse pags. And the whole thing is a bit smaller than real mouse pads. But it still works find and at least the surface is good.

I don't recall buying anything else, other than a few pomegranates from the market since they're in season now.

Well this week I bought Valkyria Chronocles for the Triple, and the ever so JAWESOME...LEGEND OF KAGE 2 for DS. Legend of Kage 2 has kept me from playing my PS3 game. And it was only 20 bux.

Nothing this week tho.

I just got two sets of Sanyo Eneloop rechargeable batteries. They are supposed to have a low self discharge rate and
maintain 85% of charge while sitting idle for a year. Also, they're not any more expensive than previous generation of NiMH.
