Multi - Console Video Game discussions. From the ancient days of Atari to the current generation of PS5 and XBOX Series X. And of course PC and Mobile. What are you playing right now?
Drat! So you to say that I can't play Fallout 3
or Far Cry 2? A shame. Not that I won't p-
lay them, but knowing these issues r-
emain for both games makes me
less eager to jump into either
title. I'm still too absorbed
into Marvel Ultimate Al-
liance for the mome-
nt in the "fiendin-
g for leveling u-
p" infinite l-
oop (lau-
ghs)!
W-

you play as

such a tragic m-
oment, Roemello??
Was it Rock Band 2 o-
r was there another one?

Immediately after it happened? First I tried a mission of TLAD, wasn't in the mood, then went into Rock Band 2 and started getting some achievements I never bothered with before One thing I love about those music games, at least for me, is they have LOADS of replay value... especially Rock Band 2 where it's got such an ENORMOUS selection... made larger with my own downloads
Now it's da countdown for RE5.... then GH: Metallica, then Legends of Wrestlemania! Good gaming month!
I can understand why you'd not be in the mood to play GTA: IV's
TLAD after such an experience since it can, but does not a-
llow for instant gratification without repercussions in t-
he form of cops (laughs). Still in need of playing my
"music" games am I, but currently, I find it diffi-
cult to pull myself from the leveling up cycle t-
hat ensnared my interest in Marvel Allianc-
e for the moment. Speaking of having a
large selection of tracks to choose fr-
om, when I get into Rock Band 2, I
will have plenty to download, so
I should be prepared with XBL
points (which I'm in need o-
f momentarily). I'm waiti-
ng for Modworld for th-
e Wii which will mea-
n that the Wii will
finally get some
use for this m-
onth (laugh-
s). Next a-
re the f-
ollowi-
g ga-
me-
s:
-Resident Evil 5 -360- (standard edition since the bonuses do not impress me...)
-Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars -DS-
-Suikoden Tierkreis -DS- (a huge RPG for the DS plus it comes with a soundtrack and artbook)
-Legends of Wrestlemania -360-
T-

I could have had this MUCH earlier
since I've been informed that i-
t actually came out on Satu-
rday over here. Anyway,
I cannot wait to play
it after learning o-
f some of the b-
onuses includ-
ed in the g-
ame su-
ch a-
s:
-collectible figurines (sort of like the trophies for Super Smash Bros Brawl) which are HIGHLY detailed, even up close!
-Mercenaries mode
-upgrade system for weapons
-the co-op mode (where certain items can be shared)
Resident Evil 5: The Collector's Edition (initially I was not going to get this version, but after learning that I had a card with over 20 dollars on it worth credit, I decided on this one after all).
And here are some of the items included...

Laughs! Just keep in mind that's it only
about 4 inches in height, but at lea-
st that's better than Prey's figur-
ine which was maybe 3 inche-
s (if that... laughs). I'm re-
ally enjoying the RPG as-
pect of upgrading the
weapons. There are
collectibles that w-
ill have gamers r-
eturning for m-
ultiple play-t-
hroughs or
grinding.
So I'm
only
on:
(stage 3-1...)
W-
e will
have to
try co-op i-
n this. Really!

I'll have it Friday (hopefully), so I'd be game for a session if can be managed! That would probably be my preferred way of playing it actually... as if the AI isn't sharp as a tack for the partner, it'll drive me CRAZY having to keep alive a tag along target I could never stand in games when I'd have to escort or protect a character... drove me nuts to no end.
Laughs! Not a fan of escort mission either, so I know the
feeling. One benefit for going co-op in RE5 is that ev-
en though we can't share money, we could share v-
aluable artifacts which are worth money and e-
ven weapons (I think... but don't quote me
on this just yet). Good luck in obtaining
this game tomorrow. If it is not poss-
ible to arrange a session (yourself
and I), then check with Masa b-
ecause she is expected to h-
ave Resident Evil 5 tomo-
rrow as well. Tis a sha-
me that co-op is on-
ly 2 players. May-
be one day, w-
e can get a
Left 4 D-
ead e-
xperienc-
e in, becau-
se that game i-
s made for 3 and,
or four player co-op!

Thank ya! I was gunning for it once I was so close Today I just caught up on some old achievements I left behind... no bother getting into anything else as tomorrow if all goes well, I'll be immersed in RE5!
I'll be picking up my copy of RE 5 today. A few days ago, I got 2 PS2 games for about $4, new copy of Silent Hill: Homecoming for the 360, The Dark Knight Joker skin for my DS, and Resident Evil 5 Faceplace and skin for my 360.
Miss Cecil inspects the loot and is not pleased.
"Wut deed j00 buy now hooman? Dis is not n-e-thing for me to eats. 5p00ny hooman!"

All into RE5 now, but it's gonna be a slow progression... I'm using the inventory/treasure save system to my advantage to build up as much money as I can and upgrade my weapons to full power at every opportunity early before I continue on. After that fight with the executioner and all those goons.... and running outta ammo, I ain't getting caught like that again Building up a shiteload of ammo and all I need to survive this insanity ahead of time So I guess ya can say I'm doing some "grinding" on stage 1-2 right now
I hear you (laughs)! Upon first playing, I
too ended up using too much ammo a-
nd just decided to go back and fig-
ht him another time when I'm b-
etter prepared. At the mome-
nt, I'm on stage 5-3 and ha-
ve amassed a great deal
of money. Most of my
weapons are nearly
upgraded to com-
pletion too. I'll
get back to
game pro-
gressin-
g no-
w!

I only played a little bit this weekend. I was sick with a migraine on and off. =( I started RE5, but ended up dying when the dude with the big axe got me from behind. He's gonna get it when I feel better. /shakesfist
I've taken the 360 offline and moved it because I got tired of tripping over the cord. Also, Cecil crashed into it and nearly knocked it off the stool while running in and out of the room with one of her, "Sugar Surges." I am hoping this weekend to FINALLY get the wireless setup. I managed to get my skins on the 360 and DS with no wrinkles. =) Since I have off tonight, I think I'll go back and forth with RE5 and Homecoming (if I am feeling ok to handle the flashing lights and sounds.) =o
