That is great, Roemello! Congratulations on your
gaming purchases! I wanted to get Guitar He-
ro III, but decided it would make a great
holiday title - same with the Simpso-
ns game. Here is one title that I
simply could not pass up tha-
nks in part to it's incred-
ibly enjoyable and re-
warding multipla-
yer mode! Th-
at game h-
appens

Call of Duty 4!

Nice acquisition yourself!! I didn't know that was even out yet! I plan on picking it up myself Thursday... looks amazing!

Thanks, Roemello! Call of Duty 4 will be available
to all on the 5th, but in my area, many store
received it much earlier. That single-pla-
yer campaign is dramatic as heck an-
d your squad-mates are aggressi-
ve to the point of stealing yo-
ur kills early on in the ga-
me! Forget all that yo-
u knew of COD3, b-
ecause this gam-
e brings back
the challe-
nge an-
d ex-
hillarat-
ion of COD-
2! Yes, it still
features scripte-
d events, be they a-
re done well! It seems
as though some elements
from GRAW has found its wa-
y here too, and the run button m-
akes a difference... especially in mu-
ltiplayer games! You MUST get this game!

How are your titles
from what you h-
ave played of
them so fa-
r? Just c-
urious
of th-
is!!

Oh, I'll have it!! Day off's coming! :dgrin: Not as soon as I'd like, but I'll get it!

As for mine... Guitar Hero III is just what you'd expect from a GH game which I love, just with the addition of guitar battles which are actually pretty fun... instead of star power getting to screw up your opponent in various ways  Great song selection too and they added this little like mini-"storyline" of sorts between advancing to each setlist

Conan so far is a pretty fun hack & slasher. Only played a couple levels, but looks good! The counterattacks are especially rewarding if looking for nasty brutality  :evilx:

And the Simpsons from the first couple levels I've done is hilarious!!! You even get to free-roam throughout the entire city of Springfield! Outdoors AND Indoors! A little simplistic so far, but it's fun and funny!

As I expected in all of them. Thanks for the mini-reviews, Roemello!
I just completed Call of Duty 4, and while the experience is a w-
ell-crafted one, I wish there was more to the single-player
campaign... or a co-op mode would have be a nice in-
clusion. Still, an enjoyable title, especially online,
and your squad-mates really assist. You REA-
LLY will need them in the more advance-
d difficulty settings. They do tend t-
o make certain stages easier t-
o clear on the easy and nor-
mal settings though. I
am playing the ha-
rdest setting n-
ow, and it
is rou-
gh!

When I have my feet operated on, I have several titles I want to finish up. I've been meaning to beat/work on, but never got around to:

Gamecube:
Twilight Princess (almost done.)
Soul Calibur II

PS2:
Castlevania: Lament of Innocence
Castlevania: Curse of Darkness
Silent Hill 2
Valkyrie Profile 2: Silmeria
FFVII: Dirge of Cerberus
Persona 3
Devil Summoner Raidou Kuzunoha vs. The Soulless Army

PS1:
Silent Hill (Yay! I found a copy! :cpatch: )

DS:
Trauma Center: Under The Knife

Congratulations on finally obtaining a copy of Silent Hill,
Masa! Did you purchase it online at all? Just curious.
Good luck with progressing in the titles listd whi-
le recovering from the operation. I have bee-
n meaning in pick up Dirge of Cerberus f-
or some time but have yet to actually
do so, and with so many new title-
s coming out next week, I may
not be able to unless the pr-
ice drops. How far did y-
ou get in Twilight Pri-
ncess by the way?
I liked Lament
better than
Curse of
Darkn-
ess.

Thanks. I bought it on Amazon.com. I tired to find it around here and down Maryland, but no luck, so I caved in and bought it online. In Zelda, I am up to where you need to get the orb from the hand and try to get it to the room in the Twilight Palace. It's been awhile since I played cause I got frustrated with him snatching the orb back. :irked: I also need to beat the Cave of Ordeals. I get to the last room only to get my ass handed to me. :irked: I try to only fight two at once, but somehow, all of them get me. At least I always take one down with me. :evilx:

That is great on both counts as far as taking
one of the enemies with you when perish-
ing (laughs) and getting Silent Hill onl-
ine! I can see how one would get fr-
ustrated on that part in Zelda si-
nce no-one really wants to ha-
ve to restart that section o-
ver and over again. At le-
ast you will have plenty
of time to play them
all. I will be makin-
g time to play th-
e game posted
below! My ai-
m is to unl-
ock all of
the cha-
racter-

It came out early, so I could not resist! I cannot wait to play this!

Save Replay mode? I MUST try this option!

I hope to play the-
se either soon
tonight or t-
omorrow
eveni-
ng!

First up: WWE Smackdown vs. Raw (featuring ECW) 08! It was available when I invested in DBZ BT3, but I decided to wait to learn more of the improvements before deciding this version over the PS2 version. Why PS2? Well, my family can enjoy the PS2 rendition and I generally play the 360 edition of SD vs RW 08!

I also got this unit to transfer my PSone and PS2 gamesaves to my PS3 (one of my memory cards on the left)...

Super Mario Galaxy was available on Sunday at a few stores in my area, but I was too busy tending to chores at home, so I waited until Monday (yesterday) evening...

Along with my purchase of Super Mario Galaxy was this commemorative coin! Here's the box...

Ditto those two and a slew of other titles I got going  I had been trying to finish up Two Worlds, but that's gonna be INCREASINGLY difficult now with this S vs R... that one's gonna hook me on da 24/7 deal  Then there's Conan, Simpsons, COD4... still got Prime 3 to do, Mario Galaxy, Eternal Sonata... probably more, just forgetting... too many

Well, at least after November, there are few
titles being released that you would even
be concerned of, so consider it a bles-
sing on your part since you should
be able to catch up a bit durin-
g this drought period of so-
rts (laughs). DBZ BT3 wa-
s such a game for me
since I did not sto-
p playing until I
unlocked all o-
f the hidde-
n charac-
ters!!!

While I did not get the opportunity
to play Mario Galaxy and Smack-
down vs Raw 08, I do intend t-
o do so tomorrow after work
should time allow. Now I h-
ave three more to add t-
o the list of titles whi-
ch I would like to pl-
ay soon... and th-
ey are as poste-

ndane tex-

Assassin's Creed: Limited Edition! Similar to Prey, it comes in a metallic box with a figure...

Two budget titles I invested in are Fire Pro Wrestling, THE deepest wrestling game available on any platform in terms of customization and King of Fighters XI which features 14 endings and a new combo system!

I was able to acquire and art-
book for Assassin's Creed
(and I can definitely a-
ppreciate art), and
Uncharted after
learning it w-
as release-
d today!
Oh j-
oy!

:)

Assassin's Creed artbook! Well, the mini-artbook.

Image

Uncharted - possibly the last quality PS3 title this year (which is saying very little considering how few games have not been pushed back or rushed out. Hopefully this is not one of them since this game was originally supposed to be released next week. A wise move to release Uncharted earlier though, because any game shipping on the same week as Mass Effect will lose sales considerably)

I'm getting silly now as I picked up Assassin's Creed and Uncharted today as well :uhoh:  They better stop putting out these major titles for a while... I need a break so I can get through what I got... or try to finish a few anyway  Right now, Smackdown vs Raw '08 has the majority of my attention though...
