The severe weather warning had been lifted last night, and it seems that the nice and warm weather will continue into the next week. Since Monday 05/25, the accumulated amount of precipitation was less than 0.1 litre per square meter, while the daytime maximum temperatures were clearly above 68F since Wednesday 05/27 peaking at 86F on Monday 06/02. The Forest Fire Danger Index for our area remains at level 4 (high danger).

Just drove through a mother of a storm for about 80 miles. We had a tornado warning a little while ago, but now it's just storming.

I'm holding this... ...generally I do like it when it's sunny and warm for a longer period, but from time, a nice and not too heavy shower cooling things down for the night is also appreciated. Unfortunately, the latter is missing, so the heat is now going on my nerves, but today is also marking the last day of the heat period as way cooler weather is reported to settle in tomorrow.
