Another one has entered my living
quarters! I purchased it yester-
day, but was too sleepy to t-
ry it out, though at the m-
oment, I am well rested
and primed for gami-
ng! Multiplayer her-
e is better than e-
ven Halo 3, so I
cannot wait t-
o get into t-
his one in
a few m-
oment-
s tim-
e!!!

Indeed Call of Duty 4 is of great
quality, especially online! He-
re are a few other items t-
hat I have invested in b-
oth yesterday and tod-
ay, but after return-
ing home last nig-
ht, I was too sl-
eepy to post
much of a-
nything!
Not s-
o no-
w:

First up: WWE Smackdown vs. Raw (featuring ECW) 08! It was available when I invested in DBZ BT3, but I decided to wait to learn more of the improvements before deciding this version over the PS2 version. Why PS2? Well, my family can enjoy the PS2 rendition and I generally play the 360 edition of SD vs RW 08!

I also got this unit to transfer my PSone and PS2 gamesaves to my PS3!

Here's a game that I am certain Ingrid could enjoy... you too, Roemello! It was available on Sunday, but I was too busy tending to chores at home, so I waited until Monday (yesterday)...

Along with my purchase of Super Mario Galaxy was this commemorative coin! Here's the box...

Exactly the two games I picked up this afternoon myself!! S vs R takes a bit of getting used too... much different than '07 I think, but good so far :) Haven't gotten to trying Mario Galaxy yet, but will probably Thursday! Interested to see just how intuitive the controls are for a game like that!

I'm personally more curious of the difficulty level, although I don't exactly have huge hopes for it.

Which game were you referring to, Nakor? Smackdown
vs Raw 08 or Mario Galaxy? I was supposed to play
them both last night, but since I had a meetin-
g at work early this morning, I wished not
to take a chance, so my intentions we-
re to play them after returning fro-
m work today, but those plans
failed after I discovered th-
e newly released titles f-
or today. Maybe afte-
r work tomorrow s-
ince I do not ne-
ed to leave h-
ome again
for that

t.

Two budget titles I invested in are Fire Pro Wrestling, THE deepest wrestling game available on any platform in terms of customization and King of Fighters XI which features 14 endings and a new combo system!

I was able to acquire and art-
book for Assassin's Creed
(and I can definitely a-
ppreciate art), and
Uncharted after
learning it w-
as release-
d today!
Oh j-
oy!

:)

Assassin's Creed artbook! Well, the mini-artbook.

Image

Uncharted - possibly the last quality PS3 title this year (which is saying very little considering how few games have not been pushed back or rushed out. Hopefully this is not one of them since this game was originally supposed to be released next week. A wise move to release Uncharted earlier though, because any game shipping on the same week as Mass Effect will lose sales considerably)

And to answer your question, Nakor, that
is part of the problem with Mario Gala-
xy. It tends to be a bit easy and it i-
s possible to complete the game
without obtaining all of the st-
ars, plus there is a seconda-
ry story of such which wo-
uld have been a nice a-
ddition if it were m-
andatory, but if y-
ou do not searc-
h for the infor-
mation lead-
ing to it, t-
hen you'd
never k-
now i-
t ex-
isted a-
t all. A fu-
n game and
the best platf-
ormer on the Wi-
i to date, however
not as challenging as
Sunshine was. Fun but
easy... and still enjoyable.

A few more holiday titles! Flat-
out: UC is a game I really w-
anted to get, and since i-
t was on sale for 25 do-
llars, I HAD to invest
in it, and Rayman:
RR2 will be fun f-
or the entire f-
amily as it's
predeces-
or was l-
ast ye-
ar!!

Flatout: Ultimate Carnage is said to be striking similar to Flatout 2, but with improved visuals (which fortunately for me, I liked), and Rayman: Raving Rabbids 2 is considered as "more of the same" being acceptible for my family.

Thanks to wedding I attended and
the work week being a hectic o-
ne as a result of the holiday
season, I have been busy
to say the least (not to
mention my obsessio-
n with Mass Effect,
laughs)! Anyway,
these games w-
ere on sale, s-
o I took it u-
pon mysel-

f it!

Virtua Tennis 3 and Mortal Kombat: Unchained, both for the PSP...

Image

Virtua Tennis.. the back. The Virtua Tennis series have always been fun to play for both novices and the hard-core alike. This one is no exception, featuring 12 mini-games and online play (LAN only, though...). A wonderfully enjoyable tennis title this is! :thumb: And I am not even really a fan of the sport... it is just that the game is THAT fun to play.

Image

Mortal Kombat's rear. This version of MK takes gamers back to Deception, when there were no custom fatalities. A good thing it was not tailored after Armaggeddon, because aside from the wealth of characters available, I cared little about MK: A. I also favored the bonus games in Deception more, and they all are present in this title: MK chess, MK adventure and MK puzzle!

A few more holiday purchases
have been made... most
game related, but th-
e others are actu-
ally of greater
importance.
Just not s-
hown be-
low at
all (l-

!!

Finally able to obtain the Wii Zapper with Link Crossbow Training included!

Image

No... I am not THAT much of a Godzilla fanatic (laughs). Both versions of the game are varied SIGNIFICANTLY! Also, the PS2 version is for my family (mostly the younger kids) while the Wii version (the better of the two with more monsters included) is for myself and the adults.

Image

Ace Combat 6... a great flying title (though less sim, more arcade) and Neo Geo Battle Coloseum caught my interest, especially since it's a 2D fighter!

Ace Combat 6... the back.

This was selling for cheap with box and manual intact, so I purchased it! This is the only non-holiday title posted here.
