So your previous camera will have a continued use
after all... nice! I'm glad you enjoy Mass Effect
3's ending. There were plenty of "foul cries"
online about the lack of choice for the e-
nding that people were expecting whi-
ch was to be addressed in some fas-
hion or another via DLC. I'm not s-
ure if this happened already tho-
ugh or if the ending you viewe-
d was the corrected version.
Glad to hear you also com-
pleted AC Revolution. A-
nother title I haven't e-
ven touched (laughs).
TStodden, what ex-
actly is Fortune S-

ill working on that "Mast-

Mortal Kombat Vita. I now hav-
e 6 characters mastered and 26 to
go if I'm not mistaken. Making progress.

I've gotten back into Backloggery ( http://backloggery.com/TStodden -- Willing to add others to my multitap), so my Backloggery list will reflect what's I'm playing on a more constant basis (although I will occasionally play a different game just to mix things up).

So far, I'm playing...

* Mega Man 1 (Wii VC) -- It's been a tough road so far, but I'm near the end. I've managed to get to Dr. Wily & have gotten him half-way on his 2nd form before dying. A few more runs & should be able to finally claim victory on this!

* Lego Star Wars: Completion Collection (Wii) -- I'm playing through the episodes in the recommended order of viewing the movies (4,5,2,3,6 ... 1 can be omitted). I did Episode 1 first just to get it over with.

* Monster Hunter Tri (Wii) -- I'm playing through it leisurely, mostly to hoard resources for upgrades when possible. I'm currently working through the Lv 2 Quests offline.

On the docket...

* Mega Man 2 (Wii VC) -- I'm determined to get through all the Mega Man games, but I'm going in natural order.

Congratulations on your progress in the titles
mentioned, TStodden! I'm currently getti-
ng into Dynasty Warriors Next one th-
e Vita since I've completed Gravi-
ty Rush (also on the Vita). At
the moment, I'm playing t-
he campaign mode and
going through vario-
us territories to
get my team

(I was just watching a video of Megaman bosses a few days ago being defeated with only the blaster)

DON'T WATCH IF YOU PLAN ON DEFEATING THEM WITH YOUR OWN STRATEGY!

Monster Hunter Tri is another game
that I wanted to try out, though
right now, I'll wait until I ge-
t my system adjusted b-
efore trying it out (a-
long with several
other Wii ga-
mes that
I own).

Haven't really been on the consoles, but have been playing a good bit of Mario Kart 7 on 3DS... despite all the incarnations, it's still a ridiculously addictive game :gamer:

Indeed it is. I tend to play it on occasion, but
at the moment, I have way too many cha-
llenges that I've been offered that I h-
ave yet to participate in. I'll see if
I can catch up with all of those
invites eventually. I just st-
arted playing Dynasty W-
arriors Next on the V-
ita and am enjoyi-
ng the gamepl-
ay. The ga-
me that
may
get me
back on co-
nsoles is that T-
ransformers: Fall of
Cybertron if I get it. I w-
anted to invest in Sleeping D-
ogs also and maybe even New Su-
per Mario 2, but this week is a rough
one for me financially. I still want to try
out Dragon Dogma... but that may have to
wait until I'm able to organize my room more.

Sorry I haven't been keeping everyone up to date.

Over the summer, I've played through a bunch of new stuff, such as Sonic 4 Episode 2, The Binding of Isaac, and Rochard.

I've also been playing a lot of Portal 2 custom maps, especially since they added Steam Workshop compatibility to it. I've made a few maps using the in-game editor. Speaking of which, some of you may have heard that everyone who owns the game on Steam received a 75% off coupon for the game to give to a friend. I haven't gave it away, yet.

On the subject of older games, I found out that I was actually decent at DuckTales 2 for the NES (which I didn't play until this year).

I also played through a few Mega Man games for a live stream charity event. As for games in the series I've played before, I played through Mega Man & Bass (Rockman & Forte) twice (once for each character), and Mega Man X3. This was also the first time I actually played Mega Man Battle and Chase, which was actually fun to stream live.

Other than the occasional online game I've already played before, or just some random game I didn't put much time into, I think that's everything at the moment.

You've really been getting serious game time in, Pelord!
As for myself, quite the opposite... though I have b-
een messing around with Dynasty Warriors Next
on the Vita here and there. I picked up Trans-
formers: Fall of Cybertron for my brother
this evening, so I guess I'll check that
out eventually (laughs). I've never
really gotten into Duck Tales 2
on the NES, though I've com-
pleted the original back t-
hen. Maybe I'll try it ou-
t on the PSP when I
get the chance s-
ince it is on th-
ere. Is there
video foo-
tage of
that
live-str-
eam event
anywhere? If s-
o, I wouldn't mind
checking it out when
I have the time. I'm quit-
e sure that it felt familiar y-
et alien to play those classic M-
ega Man titles that you've never pl-
ayed priorly. I do hope that you are ab-
le to give away that coupon. Hopefully the-
re's no expiration date on it. I've been absent
for quite a bit myself thanks to work, gf and life i-
n general (laughs). I'm going to attempt to be around
more often for updates. How are Sonic 4 Ep. 2 and Bindin-
g of Issac? I heard Sonic 4 Ep 2 was decent (nothing amazing).
Binding of Issac was supposed to be rather morbid in terms of se-
nse of style and story but en "gross" ing (laughs). Pardon the intended
pun. What did you think of both games if you mind not my asking of them?

From the Mega Man Marathon:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RERqgfvL1VA

The racing one is the only one I haven't played before, and I did practice Mega Man & Bass before the actual event.

The Portal 2 coupon is good until the end of the month.

As for Sonic 4 Ep. 2, I personally liked it, but it's nothing too spectacular. I still need time to go back to it and collect some of the game's hidden collectables, though.

It's also been a while since I played Binding of Isaac, but I put nearly 200 hours into it when I did, according to Steam. I also have the 'Wrath of the Lamb' expansion.

Nearly 200 hours into Binding Issac? Is the game that addictive
or have you just been playing it over and over again to a-
cquire hidden items and/or achievements of some t-
ype? I'll check out the videos after I get back fro-
m work today if I can since I'm rushing at th-
e moment. End of the month, eh? Well, I
do hope that you're able to make use
of it soon (or find someone who
will make use of it). I guess
I'll check out some video-
s of the Sonic 4 episo-
des to find out if t-
hey're work look-
ing into beca-
use I'm a f-
an of cl-
assic
Sonic an-
d Adventures
1 & 2 on the Dre-
amcast, but after th-
ose... there haven't rea-
lly been too many other qua-
lity Sonic games (aside from th-
e GBA ports which I REALLY like). W-
hat does the expansion for Binding of Is-
sac include in terms of additional content??

I'd say that Isaac can be addicting, but a lot of the time is because of multiple playthroughs to try obtaining items. The expansion adds quite a bit, actually (though you would need a knowledge of the original version to know what's new). I'd definitely say that if the expansion interests you, that you get used to the game without it first, as it seems that it was designed for those who nearly mastered the regular game.

Thanks for the information, Pelord!
I'll look into when I have more
time (probably on Sunda-
y). I guess the DLC
was designed
to rewar-
d tho-
se
who've
invested m-
oney, time and
interest in the orig-
inal and catered to the-
m exclusively. Quite the w-
ay to reward supporters. I won-
der if future content is expected a-
nd if some degree of multiplayer or co-
op mode is being thought about? I ask bec-
ause such staples are becoming commonplace
in the gaming arena as of late, though not every
game is designed with multiplayer in mind. Curious.

I know it's been a while since I've updated here, but here's what's going on...

* Mega Man I (NES VC) -- COMPLETED
* Mega Man II (NES VC) -- COMPLETED
* Mega Man III (NES VC) -- COMPLETED (Saturday, 8/25)

Currently Working on Mega Man IV (NES VC)

I've picked up Metal Slug Anthology (Wii) & cleared Metal Slug 1 & 2 on that; as well as Data East Arcade Classics (Wii) & cleared Bad Dudes & Caveman Ninja (aka Joe & Mac) on that.

Congratulation on completed those Mega Man titles, TStodden
and good luck with part IV. I've only completed Transfor-
mers Fall of Cybertron yesterday and played anoth-
er campaign for Dynasty Warriors Next on th-
e Vita. It felt good to play a console gam-
e again and I may get back into Skyr-
im if I get the chance, but I wou-
ld like to try out Dragon's Do-
gma too... so we'll see.
I also want to try o-
ut more of tho-
se classic N-
ES and G-
enesis
ga-
mes o-
n my PSP
since I've on-
ly really played:

-The Legend of Zelda (NES) Completed
-Rygar (NES) completed
-Battle of Olympus (NES) work in progress (close to ending)

Aside from those, I
sampled many t-
itles, but ju-
st to see
if the-
y wo-
rke-
d.

I have to give you some props for clearing Rygar, as I know how smeggin' hard that game is. The only time I've cleared the game was when I cheated to give myself unlimited health since Lygar (the final boss) is a pain to clear, not to mention the road to him in the sky palace is extremely harsh (as each hit takes 3 HP from you).
