Oooooooooooh! I must make haste in finishing them then!

I don't know how you managed to get through without using a horse much though

It takes forever WITH the horse, I couldn't imagine walking around all the time!! I'd never finish at that rate!

That is how I managed to get my tasks
completed, though there was one di-
fficult quest I had and a few guar-
ds saw me. Later on, I payed th-
em all off and bettered their d-
isposition toward me. There
still may be a guard or tw-
o who still feel negative-
ly about me, but I hav-
e the means to bribe
them now since I h-
ave sold alot of th-
e weapons that I
have been stor-
ing for some t-
me now. I so-
ld ALOT of
rings and
items I s-
tole as
well.

I did AN ENORMOUS amount of walking... but when I needed
to get to specific location, I transported. One of the benefi-
ts of getting around (via horseback or walking), is tha-
t you become familiar with various settlements and
locations that eventually, you may have a quest
in or near such places. Most of the quests I part-
icipated in was near places I already visited.
In others words, before I took on the quest-
s, I tried to get around the map and too-
k on occasion side-quests while buildi-
ng up my character's agility and l-
eveling up in the process. Afterw-
hich, I took on a major mission
and would repeat the proces-
s (mostly). With such a va-
st game, it is difficult to
commit yourself to o-
ne course of action
without being s-
idetracked (or
at least I th-
ought so).

Oh, I know... that's how I'd been going the whole time so far, but now I'm TRYING to get the thieves and dark brotherhood quests over with.... but at the same time, I'm getting the aid from Bruma out of the way too

And then I just got sidetracked on the 'virtuous blood' sidequest, so I guess I'm not having the easiest time sticking to my focus either

When I played Morrowind on the original X-box,
I stuck to a single mission and would not lea-
ve it... but with Oblivion, I chose to take
on multiple paths simutaneously, an-
d tackling the tasks this way work-
s much more in ones favor. Not
recommending you try a he-
roic quest along with one
from the Brotherhood,
but the BH and the
Thieves Guild is
a good idea al-
ong with th-
e Mages a-
nd Figh-
ters fo-
r exa-
mpl-
e!!

Yeah... ya can't really mix and match those as you end up breaking a rule of one and get kicked out and have to go through insane hunts for bear pelts and specific hard to find ingredients and the like to get back into the "good guy" guilds

So I'll get the badass ones overwith first, then be all heroic

I'll get it done eventually dammit!

Surprisingly (or un), I never was expelled from
a guild while multi-umm, guilding (laugh-
s). I aways work with care not to perfor-
m any acts that would clash with th-
e other guild (at least with the Ma-
ges and Fighters Guilds). The Br-
otherhood and the Thieves Gu-
iilds were similar in the sens-
e that not being seen or bei-
ng clever in the manner
in which you dispatch-
ed your target or sto-
le the item selected
was essential. An-
other strategy I
would use is t-
o save before
accomplish-
ing any m-
ajor task-
s... just
in ca-
se!!!

I reached the Castle (end of 2-3) in 1:24:38 with 311 total kills. I reached the end of 3-1 with 405 total kills. Both personal records. I completed 2-2 with 69 chapter kills, another personal best.

Congratulations on your lastest
accomplishment! What mor-

Still hackin away through Oblivion and got NBA Live 07 yesterday. So far it's lookin good! Gonna take some getting used to since I haven't played a basketball game in a while... this one isn't quite as easy as it's predecessors either... I wasn't able to blow out the other team by 100 point margins this time around... was actually a realistic score for my first game!

GOOD LUCK IN OBLIVION!
