A rememberance for those who have lost their pets....
In posting a msg to Ingrid, I thought of something that I had done to help ease my pain when I lost my 17 year old cat. I thought I would share it here. I had a ton of pictures. I chose my six favorite, matted them together, stamped paw prints around the edge of the matte, wrote her name in calligraphy in the center and framed it. It's a wonderful rememberance. I also took the other pictures that had been scattered throughout several albums and put them all into one with her name on it. I included a copy of Rainbow Bridge in the album, as well as cards I had received from friends, and a letter that I received from author Cleveland Amory (The Cat Who Came For Christmas). The whole album is very special to me and having everything together is a great way to remember all the things about Bill that I do. It also often

Hi Carole! That's an excellent idea. It took me a long time before I was able to do that. It hasn't been a year yet so to me it's still quite recent. I've never asked you but-- Have you adopted another kitty yet? I haven't yet but I eventually will. <U>Ingrid</U><i></i>

Ingrid, we had two other cats at the time we lost Bill, Squeeker and another one. I swore I would never own another cat, but you know, they have a way of just showing up when you least expect it. I posted this comment to Woogie under the Lost Pets Forum. Turbo (and the name suits him, BELIEVE ME!) ran across the road in front of our truck on a lonely country road (extended version on the other site). He came home with us and we just knew he was never going to leave again. He's been a lot of laughs and has helped to ease the pain. He's also
