Renegade Retro Metal Shop

Post by Diofan »

As some of you know, I produce/host a Show on the internet Radio Station Renegade Retro. This show showcases Rock and Metal from the 70's, 80's and 90's.

The show starts at 10 PM Eastern (7 PM Pacific) sundays! That said, if you'd like to tune in, the link is for winamp users and for Windows Media Player. And yes, as Host/DJ I can be heard on the show!

Good show, from what I heard. I'm sorry I wasn't in much, we've had some bad weather here tonight, so I was being careful. :)

I can't divulge too much info on the upcoming show on the Station's Forums, but I CAN Divulge a little more here, next show (June 10th @ 10 PM Eastern 7 PM Pacific) will be 2 hours 20 minutes long. It will feature about 45 minutes of "Women that Rock". This set was originally slated to take up the whole show, But I ran into a little "Snag"...not enough female Hard Rock/Metal Artists to take up 2+ hours.

The Women That Rock was the Brainchild of our own Bookmistress4ever and Bluemolly2006.
Would love to have ya'll tune in Sunday night!

Molly and Patty are regular listeners, so don't take my word for it!

Aww, Brian, you're making me blush. :giggle:

Honestly, Brian's show is awesome. This is coming from a person who is not a huge metal fan, but I'm starting to change my tune.

Woot!

It is pretty good, and I'm not a huge fan of heavy metal either....having said that I do enjoy the show as I enjoy all the shows. :thumb:

This Morning, I Made a Decision. I will No longer do Metal Shop. As Much as I'd like to do the show, several factors influenced my decision.

A: Private Messages should be kept PRIVATE, not broadcasted for others to read.
B: The Station owner essentially wants me to "Carbon Copy" an established show, which I have neither the time or resources.
C: Lastly I have ZERO desire to work with their Newest Admin (NR), who is a pompous Ass!

That Said, No more Metal Shop!

Re: Renegade Retro Metal Shop

Well...the "new Admin" was dumped to the curb earlier this year. And since Early June, I've been back on the air at Renegade retro. Basicly lots of loose ends cleared up.

TOMORROW, I'll be hosting the Station's New Years Eve Show.

The Final Show of 2010 on Renegade Retro. Not a Metal Shop show, as I'm going all over the place on this show! I gotta fill up 5 hours! So there may be something for everyone in this show!

I've programmed in the first hour and a half, Gonna kick it off with some good party songs to kick up the mood. After the hour and half, the Studio kicks into "Auto-Mode" Meaning either the Software picks the tunes, or YOU do (via Requests, but you can make requests anytime during the show). Two hours into the show, I'll start kicking off the new year for each time zone with a special selection. Starting at the eastern time zone and working my way to Pacific time. (Sorry Alaska and Hawaii, but I'm not gonna keep at it for 7 hours!)

The theme for the night is PARTY!!! Tune in and have a blast with me!
Tune in info
