Have the trees changed to shades of red in your area?

Post by Ingrid »

Here are some pics taken around the neighborhood. I took these on my first bike ride after I returned from Argentina. I thought the decoration with ghosts around the tree was pretty clever and easy to make. I'll have to try a decoration like that myself. <

All the trees here appear to have died after the one week where temps went from the 60s to the 30s

The majority haven't yet, but the early turners have. The maples, for example. There are many rules of<

Some of the trees have already shedded their leaves. I know the trees by the church I live nearby have already got the leaves bagged up. <

Some trees here have their color but thanks to the rain and wind most have lost their leaves.

I live near boring trees... They don't change at all... they just lose the leaves and that's it. <

There is one section of road in which the trees literally dumped their entire stock of leaves all at once. Left for a very messy sidewalk. ~_~<

In my neighborhood that doesn't really happen. I think the trees here are just really doped up on chemical fertilizers and stuff like that. Plus they're probably the wrong kind of trees. Edited by: Lagoon Bug at: 10/26/05 6:51 am<

Those of beautiful pictures! Where we live... lets say... our town needs to put more trees in. The streets are still slightly clear. Its weird to drive through neighbouring towns and have leaves attacking your winshield with every turn. lol<

Well, I think most trees around here have reached their peak. Today I noticed an incredible amount of leaves on the ground...and the trees are looking pretty bare. Not all but many are. I think tonight's high winds will complete the job. We'll see how things look like by tomorrow. Maybe I should try and take some pics. <
