NICE PRICE AND SELECTION!

Post by soloist »

Good price point I say! I know that a PSP version
is available but have heard nothing about i-
t, so that is something I must look up ev-
entually. Red Dead Revolver used to
be one of the best most recent we-
stern/cowboy type game, so it
would be interesting to see
if Gun can take its plac-
e. RDR is a challenge
to find in my area
though. The ope-
n world area i-
n Gun is said
to need mo-
re happe-
ning in
a ma-
nne-
er
simi-
lar to th-
e GTA serie-
s, but gamepla-
y and story are tw-
o areas that Gun is m-
entioned to be proficient
in from my understanding.

This is the first Western-themed game I've bought since Outlaw on my Atari 2600...

YIKES!

Post by soloist »

Whoa! That is indeed a long time... but that
was a western-themed game that I enjoy-
ed back then. The only other two I bel-
ieve were Wild Gunman and Sunse-
t Riders... both appearing on the
NES. Capcom created an over-
head western game (which
name escapes me mome-
ntarily) that I did not
care much for duri-
ng such times. T-
he PSP version
of Gun was s-
aid to be pr-
etty good,
so I may
give it
a cha-
nce!

(not this month though...)

It has decent graphics, but the gameplay is too similar to Timesplitters: Future Perfect for my taste.

More a focus on Lego Star Wars II here lately... it gets addictive when you're trying to find all the little extras and raise completion percentage

My goodness! I fear his symptoms
are undeniable! Roemello offic-

And not an accute sens-

be:

-one night stay in the confined quarters of Lady H!

J-

Congratul-
ations on you-
r latest gaming a-
cquisitions! As for m-
yself, I actually showed
some degree of retraint sin-
ce I only picked up Smackdow-
n vs Raw 07, when I wanted to get:

-Smackdown vs Raw 07 (and...)
-WTF (PSP)
-Activition Hits (PSP) has over 40 Atari games and 80's music
-Gun: Showdown (PSP)
-Splinter Cell: Double Agent (360)
-SOCOM 4 (PS2) forgot the rest of the title (laughs)

While at the gaming
store, I saw that t-
he PS2 and Wii
games were
already a-
vailab-

e!

THAT IS GOOD!

Post by soloist »

Congratulations, Kenseiden! What
do you think of it if you mind
not my asking? I was not
fond of it, but did not
really give it mu-
ch of a chanc-
e I'll admit.
My pro-
gres-
s:

-Smackdown vs Raw 07 - unlocked Brett Hart and Roddy Piper
-Gears of War - fighting the large spider creature boss (forgot the name)
-Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 2 - all characters unlocked (trying for ultimates)
-Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories - at 22% completion (2nd island/area)

:)

I'm on Year 5 and so far, it seeme like the only thing I'm doing is gathering myrrh, again. Maybe now that I can go beyond the previous zones, it will open up some new things.

SO FAR SO GOOD...

Post by soloist »

At least you got that far, Kenseiden! I only started
the game and soon after returned it for due to
lack of interest in it for the moment. Tis a
shame I did not give it much of a cha-
nce... but there were too many ot-
her games out that I REALLY
wanted. Tis good that yo-
u are progressing in
games you negl-
ected, Rome-
llo. My pr-
ogres-
s:

-Completed Gears of War (now playing Insane mode)
-Unlocked all of the characters in DBZ: Budokai Tenkaichi 2
-Unlocked all but Steve Austin in Smackdow vs Raw 07

I
will
have to
go back to
these games:

-Flatout 2 (PS2)
-GTA: VCS (PSP)
-Super Mario World Advance (GBA)
-Final Fantasy XII (PS2)
-Mortal Kombat Armaggeddon (PS2)

(and so many others...)
