Tetrinet2 is working again!!! We had a blast tonight!

YESSSS!!!!

Tetrinet2 is up and running again!

So tonight Roem, Molly and I headed there -this was their first time with Tetrinet - and it was a blast! Roem won two and I won one game!

I made a private room with password and we played a Classic Game. You can choose fancier settings too, but we just started with a pretty basic one and boy was it fun!

Quite a few of our RT members used to get together to play against each other, but then Tetrinet2 vanished for 2-3 years. Well...it's baaaack!

Each room can take up to 6 players, as you can see in the screen copy show below. You can make teams too.

I am telling ya...it's FUN!!!

So...one of these nights, we could go in groups up to 6 players and play against each other. You can also make a room and practice alone too.

If you had a previous account with tetrinet (FREE btw) and it doesn't work, you'll need to re-register.

You need to download Tetrinet 2 and then open it and pick a name and password.

I sucked at the game.

But it was fun watching who would win. Roem kicked ass.

Ah, I remember this. Problem is, the one time I actually tried to play it with a bunch of people from the old RT, the connection was so wonky that we only got like one game to work all the way to the finish.

Maybe I can try and join in this weekend, when I can stay up late enough to catch the nocturnal people around here.

Connection was perfect last night! Maybe they improved da system a bit as we had 3 games in flawlessly!

Was fun though... I like Tetris style they got going there

Ah man! If you started playing about 2-3 hours earlier, I would have joined in.

Yes it was as I said before after I got da hang of it. You wouldn't believe how frustrated I got before Roem explained to me about the competetor's blocks being trashed into yours. I was swearing up a storm at one point.

It was fun though, and it was interesting to play the different versions.

I know. I was getting more used to it when we played a couple days ago.

If I recall... most of us did too, but he won most of the matches by far when he played... Unless he is somehow losing his touch.
