Are there any foods you love that just won't agree with you and will make you feel totally miserable?

Anything spicy. I have gastritis so anything hot makes my stomach turn. Also anything fried isn't good either.

Dairy does me in...I'm lactose intolerant, but hoo! I love it!

Oh were do I start? I have IBS (Irritable Bowel Syndrome). Chicken is my biggest enemy. A lot of greasy foods give me grief. Krispy Kreme donuts as well as anything extremly sweet. I am taking a medication called Pamine which makes my life a lot easier.

Fortunately, no for me...

However, when I went down to Mexico a few years ago, the food was not exactly kind to me... Mexican food in the US is no problem for me though. :p

Do you buy one of those lactose free types then?

That sucks, Kevin!

Do you follow a special diet then?

I feel pretty fortunate not to have any issues with foods. I always say I could almost eat glass and still be OK.

Nopers...the lactose-free stuff tends to be nearly twice the price of the regular dairy items. I'm a cheapskate, and not to proud to suffer for my miserliness either. Some things bother me more than others. Ice cream is dynamite, whereas cheese doesn't really bother me that much. Overall, I just make sure to limit the amount of dairy I eat and stick close to home...just in case. :uhoh:

Pepperoni & other spicy foods seem to do a number on my stomach with indigestion... Fritos occasionally cause it too for some reason.

Add pop to the mix & things can get nasty.

Spicy chicken wings upset my stomach like no other. It doesn't stop me from eathing them, but it still upsets my stomach.

I have something similar to acid reflux that's due to the tube that goes from the top of my head, through my chest, and down into my stomach. I can eat almost anything, even though I still get fluid to semi come back the wrong way. The only thing I hate is when the fluid comes back up and ends up in my windpipe. >.<

Dude...Kevinator, I was diagnosed with IBS also. I'm not sure if that's really what I have though, doesn't seem to matter much what I eat, my system's always funky.

That said, baked beans wage war with my intestines. That goes for most things with excessive amounts of tomato sauce, but beans + tomato = bad idea. Frong can testify to this.

Mexican food apparently doesn't like me either. I have unpleasant memories of the night I went out on my friend's birthday to Mi Mexico and ate fajitas and fried ice cream. The grease factor was too potent for numerical measurements. Worst acid reflux I've ever had in my life. :x

I could probably go on, but...I think you get the idea.

I've had fried ice cream before and if I remember right it's ice cream with a tortilla like shell on the top. It's actually pretty good, but not good for the tummy.
