LOST (might have spoilers, so beware)

Post by BlueMolly2006 »

I thought since the season premiere of LOST is coming in the next week or so, I thought about starting a thread about the show. This thread will be for the discussion of the show and any spoilers. I put a spoiler warning in the title for that reason. Right now, I don't have any spoilers.
I know one person here who is also a LOST fan, but anyone else hooked on this show? My favorite characters are Claire, Charlie and sawyer. Who are your favorite character(s)?
Oh I wish October 4th would come soon. I'm getting antsy over the season premiere. :D

I am very excited for LOST. (I became more excited for Grey's Anatomy though)

Have you been following the ARG between the seasons? It's interesting, but somewhat time consuming. I gave up a few weeks in and have just been reading the updates. Not sure if or how it will tie into the show.

I am looking forward to the premiere of the third season; however, I lost (pardon the bad pun) a lot of enthusiasm for the show due to last season's REALLY ANNOYING penchant to air re-runs and skip several new episodes in a row, in favor of said re-runs. BOOO!!!! That said, gimme some Sawyer. :dgrin:

Agreed green tea, agreed.

Lets hope it doesn't do that this season!! It's hard to keep up when you're constantly trying to remember what happened 2, 3 weeks ago....

GreenTea, I read they aren't doing the reruns like they did last year. I was losing enthusiasm too because of the reruns.

I don't follow Lost but I soooooo agree with you about how shows will air too many re runs and skip new episodes, making you wonder if these people are perpetually on vacation or they are getting uber lazy, not to mention annoying.

Another example of that: SNL

i really started to lose interest in this show when last season winded down..but i'll watch the s3 premiere, just cuz of the cliffhanger they left off with. damn cliffhangers! you don't need them in every episode for it to be a good show!

But I love that with LOST. It gets you to watch next week's show to see what happened. From the advertisements about the third season it looks interesting. I wonder who will be killed this year? I hope not Claire, Charlie or Sawyer. Ooooh Sawyer.
One more day to go.

ahaha the characters you named are the ones i want off the show! add kate to that list and i'd become a fan again. those kids get wayy too much screen time and have started to annoy the hell outta me! (kate more than sawyer) i hope the new characters they introduce this season aren't as annoying as they are.

keep in mind my bitterness partly stems from the fact they killed shannon so early on during s2. sure she was cute, and spoiled, but after boone got whacked i was hoping to see more character development on her part. and the fact that they decided to kill both siblings off? that's just cruel!

So who watched it? How did you like the first ep?

I liked it. Seeing Sawyer, Jack and Kate in different cells was interesting. That Harry guy creeps me out. He has the hots for Kate. I cried when Jack was remembering how his wife left him.
Next week's ep looks interesting. It looked like Michael gets shot.

Oh shoot, I missed it. I've been waiting so long for the new season that I forgot which week it starts on. I hope there's a replay of last night's episode before the next one.

ABC is talking about not doing reruns of the show, because of what happened last year. Check out ABC.com because they might still have a rerun of their show that you can watch for free. This is if you have broadband.

i thought it was pretty lame, but my expectations weren't as high as they were for last year's season premiere. i do really think the quality of the show is starting to go down, but i'm gonna give it one more shot next week, when they show what's going on with the other castaways. i didn't like the fact that we only saw what happened to the captured survivors (not that much happened at all), and i'm not too impressed with how they're writing jack's character nowadays. just another lame filler episode before they were able to think of something interesting, i guess. oh, and we find out that henry gale's real name is ben? sweet!! not.
