I picked at home, or at my Mom's home with my family. I'm not a huge party person and just spending a quiet night at home watching New Years Rockin' Eve is fine with me. A couple years ago, I did party with my aunt and uncle and it was fun, but it's just nice to be home. Call me a wuss, but hey.

At home gets my vote...either at my home or my parents' home. :thumb:

With friends...I'm not that fussy about the location as long as it's no completely overcrowded place - that happened to us once (I think in '88 or '89) when the organizers of this party sold 15.000 tickes for a hall which had a capacity of about 8.000... :twitch:

It took us almost an hour for a distance of about 30 metres and another hour to get our money back. And we could consider ourselves lucky...later (in the meanwhile, the organizers had "replaced" the ones who had left the hall with "fresh meat"), the people who had demanded a refund since it was impossibile to turn on the feet, not to mention moving in any direction once you were inside, plainly refused and had to be protected by the police as the people were in the mood for more "bodily" action.
