Since this is a new board, let's start things off by telling everyone what your favorite sport/team is.

Mine is Hockey and I love my Stars.

Really...apparently the AvNots play in Detroit twice a year and usually get beat by the home team...not that this is news to anyone...or that it was a good year to root for anyone from Detroit, Denver, or Vancouver...or Dallas, for that matter.

Ah, a BoSox fan. I'm curious: do you have a burning hatred now for Johnny Damon or not? I'm not even a Boston fan and his jumping ship still annoys me. Even if the Boston management didn't make much of an effort to keep him around, I still basically view the guy as Judas. Seriously, he doesn't even fit in in NY with that clean-cut look and all. He should have stayed as Captain Caveman.

Anyway, my sports go:

hockey (Blue Jackets) > baseball (Indians) > college football (Ohio State) > pro football (Panthers) > basketball (Cavaliers)

Of those, I really only care about the first three, but about those three, I care a lot. I seem to have a habit of rooting for teams that are either really good or really sucky, though. Weee.

Like Jodi, I like the Boston Red Sox, probably because my older brother worked for their sales department when he got out of college. I also like the Buffalo Sabres, New England Patriots and NY Yankees.

Then there is FOOTBALL and the NFC CHAMPION Seattle Seahawks!!!

To answer your question, Frong, I dO NOT hate Johnny Damon. I'm NOT happy that he left Boston to go to the New York Yankees..... but hey it's every little boys dream to be on the Yankees someday, right? What UPSETS me is that he left Boston to go for ALOT MORE money. That just doesn't fly with me. I believe that you should play the game for the LOVE OF PLAYING the game, NOT for the money

I lost alot of respect for him and you're right..... he looks HORRIBLE clean cut in a Yankees uniform. I often wonder if he's happy playing for the richest and snobish baseball team in the American League, especially having been told how he had to 'look' to play on the team. Or maybe, he feels like a SELL-OUT for leaving one of the greatest fan bases in Baseball history..... We all know how the Boston fans rally around their team at Fenway Park. In any case, even if he should come back to Boston, I would NOT jump on the Johnny Damon bandwagon...... I don't like 'traitors"

Since I'm from Europe, I go for the Formula 1 (Michael Schumacher/Ferrari) and Football (Hannover 96 and Eintracht Braunschweig).
