Brady Bunch or The Partridge family?

Post by BlueMolly2006 »

Okay which one did you like best?

I voted for The Brady Bunch, because I, even though I've seen the episodes hundreds of times, still watch them. I have all the DVDs and watch the episodes almost all the time. :D

You too, christine? I saw a little bit of his reality show he was doing, and he's gotten a bit strange. But Christopher Knight is still cute.
I always related to Jan for some reason, probably because I had an older sister who was popular in school, and I had to try to do everything to be like her.

My favorite quote from The Brady Bunch is from Marcia: "Is there a difference? Is there a difference between a shooting star and a firecracker?"
My three favorite episodes of The Brady Bunch are:
The one where Marcia tries so hard to get Davy Jones to go to her prom. *sigh* Davy Jones, he was so cute back then.
The one where Marcia gets a swollen nose, "Hey you guys.....oh my nose."
And the one where Cindy goes on the quiz show and gets stage fright. I always thought if I ever got on a game show I'd be like her for some reason.
I had some contact with Robbie Rist (Cousin Oliver) a few years ago. I e-mailed him a few times. He was let's say....not a very friendly person.
The one Brady cast member I'd love to meet it Marueen McCormick (Marcia), she just seems really friendly and from what I've seen in interviewes she seems like a very genuinely kind person.

I guess I also felt like Cindy, being the youngest in my family. I'm also still treated like a baby too.
So I'm like Jan & Cindy. My sister is, "Marcia, Marcia, Marcia."

Can you tell I'm a Bradyphile? I have books on the show, I have their "It's a Sunshine Day: Best of" CD, and all their TVshows on video (including The Brady Bunch Variety Hour and The Brady Brides).

I hate them both equally. A "none of the above" option would've been nice...

Of the two, I picked the Partridge Family...why? Because I thought Susan Dey (Laurie)

was better looking then Maureen McCormick (Marcia)

and Danny Bonaduce (Danny) Was funnier then any of the boys in the Brady Bunch! (IMHO)

The Partridge Family...because they had some catchy songs, and it wasn't quite as nauseating as The Brady Bunch (although quite close)

This past weekend TVLand had a Brady Bunch marathon including a reunion special. It was really cool. And VH1 had their reality show with Christopher Knight. Let's just say my crush on him was dashed after seeing him be a very ugly drunk.
