Well.....

It looks as though the Voodoo curse slept again today. I wonder if the Stars will be so lucky as to have it sleep again on Monday. Probably not, but one can hope.

True, true...the game winner was scored within the last two minutes of the game, so we can all rest assured that no team with Claude Lemieux on its roster will win it all this year. Serves the bastard right, really.

I'm going to go out on a line here, and say Donald Brashear will be moving in the upcoming season. I don't think Philly will want to keep him around after his performance.<

>As for Claude Lemieux, who knows what runs in the minds of the Dallas Stars. Giguere didn't steal every game this time around-- it's fair to say that Turco played as well or better. I wonder if they can even place the blame in any single place. <

Brashear's had his differences with a couple of guys, I think...Domi comes to mind...as for the supreme ruler of Hacktopia (aka Cluade Lemieux, as Tanis called him,) I don't know. He leeches onto a team he thinks is going all the way, acts like he did something in the playoffs, and people think he's the greatest player in playoff history. The guy should have been kicked out of the NHL years ago (76 stitches for Draper on a hit that was clearly intentional is where I draw the line, people...) and yet he's still allowed to chase Lord Stanley's trophy. He ought to have his name taken off of it.

I think the worst thing I've ever seen in the NHL is when that guy that played for the Devils (I think) whacked this guy over the head with his stick.

That would be Marty McSorley, and he played for Boston. Notice that "played" is in the past tense; he's over and done now.
