Do you see yourself sticking to XP or are you tempted to switch back to W98?

I've been talking to a friend of mine online & he's really suggesting windows XP if your computer can support it, especially on a NTSF partition (what NT uses)<
><
>He does suggest that you clean out your hard drive for a clean installation if you have to keep your FAT32 partition (if you don't know what partition you have... now would be a good time to nod along & assume that you have a FAT32 partition...) so that you can prevent file conflicts.

I've heard that if you use the pc mainly for games and internet FAT 32 is better because then your pc will be faster. I don't know if this is true though. I use FAT 32 by the way. <

>And I upgraded it to XP, is it better to do an installation from scratch? I didn't got any file conflicts yet.

I heard that it's better to by my friend who's a Canadian computer expert (Nemo Nint introduced each other), but if there's no conflicts so far... that's great to hear!<

I think I will keep using XP, it crashed for no reason twice right after I installed it. But that hasn't happened again. And ME didn't load my videocard drivers properly at certain times and that hasn't happened with XP yet. So I guess it's a littlebit better than ME.

Do you have a video capture card or a video import device hooked up your USB, Sir Zhype?

I have a video card that I installed in a slot of my pc. So not an import USB device.

Huh? Why do you need a videocard to do that?

Yeah, that's the stuff you need to transfer home videos into a CD rom.

I don't use it for that though. Just to play videogames and stuff.

Yeah, I recently found out about that when I asked what was needed to transfer home video movies to CD Roms. I think it's kinda neat to be able to store home movies that way.

It is a good way to store videos. A friend of mine has a lot of videos that he is transferring onto his pc. He edits them too with his pc. But those videos take up a lot of space though.

There's only type of movie editor that I know of & that's Monoposoft's Window Movie Editor & that's somewhat of a crappy program since it takes up 300 MB's minimum for editing space.
