Congratulations with your completion
of the Dead Money dlc, Masa! I h-
ope that Old World Blues is le-
ss of a headache (laughs).
Was Dead Money short
compared to New Ve-
gas at all? Just cur-
ious. I'm playing
more of Zelda
3DS and De-
ad or Aliv-
e Dimen-
sions o-
n the
3DS
as
well.
Aside f-
rom that,
nothing mu-
ch else since I
have been feelin-
g lazy after work an-
d haven't even attemp-
ted to remove my 360's h-
arddrive to use on one of the
other 360 systems that's usable.
I do plan on getting EDF at some p-
oint.... but for now, just making goo-
d use of the 3DS. I may get more involv-
ed with RE: Mercenaries since I already hav-
e a save. I'll be getting back to Zelda soon too.

Old World Blues dialog makes up for Dead Money ten fold.

Finished Old World Blues. Again, the dialog alone makes this worth a run through or two.

L.A. Noir. Few games hook me in from the get-go, but loving the detective style of this one. Only thing that sucks are the same wonky controls as the GTA games... especially when driving :p

Now, I'm officially interested in Old
World Blue's dialog (laughs). If i-
t's anything like that of Bullet-
storm, I'd be inclined to agr-
ee with you, Masa! Congr-
atulations on acquring a-
nd playing L. A. Noire,
Roemello! What wo-
uld be a nice add-
ition to that ga-
me is if there
were a mult-
iplayer co-
mponen-
t that
has
a crim-
e happen
real-time, y-
et random and
all participants ha-
ve to attempt to solv-
e the crime before the o-
thers. I really wanted to try
this game, but I doubt that ti-
me would allow me to. I'm still k-
eeping myself busy with the 3DS and:

(playing Dead or Alive Dimensions & Zelda OOT 3DS)

I was thinking the same in terms of a multiplayer element! That'd be something I'd actually get into either way... being the devious assailant or detective. One thing I love about it is the facial expressions they've implemented into the game and how you have to pay close attention to their looks and body language to figure out if they're lieing or not. Picking up on clues and following leads have been interesting, too. Makes it a lot more engaging than the GTA series I think.

I finished up Ocarina of Time 3D a while back... great remake start to finish. And today I just got my freebie soundtrack CD in the mail. Thankfully I thought to register it to see they were offering it on a first come first serve for a limited time when it came out! Did you get in on that, Soloist? It's one you'd probably like as it's the complete score to the entire game from opening to ending credits

I managed to get the OoT 3D soundtrack, it's actually missing a few tracks (from Ganon's Tower), but it is an improvement over the older OoT N64 soundtrack you had to order from Nintendo Power. It was missing all the dungeon tracks (except for the Deku Tree, which isn't even exclusive to the dungeon), not to mention it was damaged in the mail. The OoT 3D disc was in great condition, though.

I've also been playing Castlevania HD again, since someone I used to play the game with often decided to get back into playing it. I've also been recording some of our playthroughs live on JustinTV/TwitchTV.

I also downloaded Insanely Twisted Shadow Planet this week, haven't really played much of it yet. I guess the best way to describe it is to think of it as a mix of Metroid, Limbo, and a dual-stick shooter.

It's a shame that such ideas rarely get implemented
unless huge amounts of financial backing suppor-
ts it (or they're indie enough to take a hit in h-
opes that gamers will love it). I've read that
some gamers didn't like L.A. Noire becaus-
e of the detective aspect of paying atte-
ntion to facial expressions and manne-
risms since they were spoiled by GT-
A's instant gratification of immed-
iate effects. This is why gamer-
s have to play this game as a
detective during that era a-
nd not like a reckless juv-
enile without care of co-
nsequences (laughs).
It's a shame that I
didn't take adva-
ntage of the Z-
elda soundtr-
ack promo-
tion. I g-
uess b-
y no-
w it's t-
oo late? I'll
try registerin-
g my game and
see what happens.
I'm glad to hear that
your copy wasn't faulty
after receiving it this tim-
e, Pelord. Tis great that you
got back into Castlevania HD!
I'll see if I can check out the foo-
tage from the location you mentio-
ned. Insanely Twisted Shadow Planet
sounds interesting considering the blen-
d of titles you mentioned. I still would like
to download Limbo and I hope I'm able to an-
d can play it one day (laughs). From the look o-
f things, I guess I won't be able to get into Fallout
3 before Skyrim since it's going to be a while before
I get my systems back up and even if brought the hard-
drive downstairs, I still won't have the time to really get i-
nto it uninterrupted. For now though, I'm still messing with:

-Dead or Alive: Dimensions - got all characters, but trying to get all of the 3D figures and outfits.

-Zelda OOT 3D - trying to get all of the Skulltulas (at the Water Temple now)

Congratulations on
completing Zeld-
a OOT 3D, Ro-
emello! It's
going to
take a
bit l-
onger f-
or me tho-
ugh (laughs).
I still want to a-
cquire Earth Defe-
nse Force: Insect Ar-
mageddon eventually.

If you are interested in watching my C:HD recordings, search my XBL gamertag on JTV. Let me know if you ever want to try and participate sometime in the future, no problem with helping out new players. In some of the more recent videos, you can see some really obscure glitching of the game's physics (by other players in the game).

I completed ITSP, though there are still a few things I need to do. One particular puzzle was a bit more complicated than it needed to be, but I think it's worth the effort considering a very unusual method I saw someone on YouTube use to complete it. I've heard some talk of a Co-Op DLC for it, but they haven't said much about it.

Sure, I'd be interested once I get my systems
back up and online, but that will take som-
e time. Upon completing the task at ha-
nd, I'll contact you or inform you here.
If any of those videos are up on Yo-
utube, I can check them out ther-
e until I get my systems up if t-
hat is possible. If not, I'll wai-
t. I'm sure there are plenty
of mischievous acts that
can be performed whe-
n numerous human p-
layers are co-ordin-
ating their effort-
s against the g-
ame's physics
and/or eng-
ine (laug-
hs). I'll
need
to
chec-
k out th-
e game you
mentioned on
Youtube one day
(ITSP). Is the puzzl-
e really that difficult?
I'll attempt to check out
the puzzle and how it was
solved just for curiosity's sa-
ke. Maybe in the morning whe-
n I should have more leisure time.

I don't have them on YouTube (not yet, anyway), but they are still available for viewing in JTV's archives.

The puzzle I'm referring to in ITSP is in the Ice Zone, and involves redirecting lasers. Parts of it are glitched, apparently... though it seems it's not entirely game breaking.

Ok! When I get my systems up, I'll
do well the check them. I kind
of figured that there was a
glitch in the puzzle that
made it difficult. At
least there is a w-
ay around it. I
guess the b-
eta teste-
rs may
hav-

(been playing Minecraft or Fruit Ninja...)

I did grab Star Fox a couple days ago, but haven't played it yet since I was spending a few days in Santa Clara.
