My current situation

I've been in the hospital for the last few weeks and that's why I haven't been posting much. It wasn't until this past weekend that I learned I have lymphoma. It was pretty shocking news and really hit me hard. At first it was only thought to be stage 1, but I was informed yesterday afternoon that it's stage 4.I'm still alittle shook up, but I know with my own strength along with the support of my family and friends, I can and will beat this. The only thing I ask of my friends here is to send some positive vibes and the occasional prayer my way.

Ack... is it at least still properly treatable at this point? I looked up some info on lymphoma just now, and it said that even advanced stage cases can still be cured for some people. Here's hoping you're one of them.

Had a week out around the holiday, which was fun and well needed. Got back last Monday and as of Sunday I'm done with my second round of Chemo. Now it's just recovery from the Chemo and I get another week out in about 2 weeks. Then just one last round of Chemo and I get out.

Sorry to hear about this PJ. I'll keep you in my thoughts sweetie. I know the chemo can be hard to go through. I watched my mom battle colon cancer twice now.

I beat it. Been home for about 3 weeks now. Still a little weak, but overall I feel great. Thanks to all for the positive vibes, prayers & thoughts.
