Wise choice indeed... and congratulations
on your purchase, Masa! But once y-
our PS3 arrives, my advice is
to go straight for God o-
f War III. I've heard
that some store
here may ge-
t it ear-
ly!!

(but I'll wait...)

Like everyone, I'm also playing Final Fantasy XIII on PS3. Also doing my crushing run in Uncharted.

Congratulations on becoming an honorary member of the
Final Fantasy XIII tribe, PJ (laughs)! Just kidding, but
I'm glad that you were able to acquire it as well. M-
y hope is that you're enjoying it as we are. Goo-
d luck with the Uncharted speed run. And yes
Roemello... not having to install the game
makes a HUGE difference since I couln't
stand having to wait for the install be-
fore playing games on the PS3, and
this occurred with many of the ot-
her PS3 games in my collection
right now. I'm going to try to
get some FFXIII time in to-
day, but I also planned o-
n making more collect
videos since I've be-
en cleaning and d-
iscovering more
of my old title-
s. Maybe I w-
ill do both.
We shall
learn s-
oon e-
nou-
gh.

Switched it up a bit today and got started on God of War III... I can't wait to finish Final Fantasy XIII to jump into it, so I'll go through GoW first... so far, much more addictive :gamer:  Also got Perfect Dark for XBLA to toy around with on the side.

Gotta say though, after seeing FFXIII and GoW 3, PS3 definitely beats the pants off of the 360 in graphic power... the visuals in these two new titles are unreal!

And outta curiosity, what's that Pandora's Box made out of, Soloist? I was half considering that ultimate edition, but didn't wanna spend the extra. Still curious about the make on the box, though. If it's made of plastic, I won't feel bad for skipping it

It's appears to be made of a rubber/plastic
compound when last I checked. It's mor-
e of a fan's item though since it's gr-
eatly detailed but essentially just
a storage piece so I doubt that
you would be interested in o-
wning it considering the p-
rice (though I like it). I-
n Final Fantasy's case,
I wish that there wa-
s a greater sense
of interactivity
to the enviro-
nment sinc-
e it looks
gorgeo-
us, b-
ut f-
eels a-
wkward n-
ot being abl-
e to interact w-
ith it in some way.
My PS3 is definitely g-
etting more play time th-
ese days. I can't wait to ge-
t home on Sunday for more!!!

That was fast! Ya binge out without a moment's rest? Still picking away at it myself, but at a slower pace making sure I don't miss anything. Been a blast so far! And I LOVE how they put the buttons in their respective positions of the controller on-screen during those sequences... makes it so much easier to pull them off in time.

Surprisingly, I didn't binge at all. Two
hours here and two more there. In
fact, I was working 2 shifts mo-
st of this week which left m-
e little time to really play
with the intensity that
I wished to. This is
why I was so sta-
rtled to learn t-
hat the credi-
ts began t-
o roll. M-
aybe t-
he n-
ormal d-
ifficulty wa-
sn't enough for
me, but it seeme-
d shorter than I initi-
ally would imagine. An e-
njoyable ride nevertheless a-
nd one which I wouldn't mind tr-
ying again. Since I'm in a Playstat-
ion 3 mood, I may get back into Met-
al Gear 4 after more progress in FF XIII.

Oh, and yes... the quick-time
sequences have been simpl-
ified with the directiona-
l positioned indicators
as a reference point
for the optics. I w-
onder if on hard-
er difficulty se-
tting is this
addition r-
emoved
at all?
Curi-

Ok, so it is a bit shorter than I thought  I just finished it today myself. Tried the challenges, but the second one fighting bare handed drove me crazy enough that I'm done with it and back to Final Fantasy XIII

Taking a break from Mega Man 10... got 90% of challenges completed, and probably not going to bother with the rest. I'll probably play some more of it once the 'DLC' is available (using that term loosely since the content is still in the game, it just needs to be unlocked).

Haven't really played Bayonetta since getting all the achievements, not sure if I'll go back to it since there are still things here and there I haven't done.

Perfect Dark XBLA has been fun so far... though there's the problem with glitched achievements, apparently.

Ouch! Sorry to learn about the
glitch-ridden achievement-
s. I was going go get i-

ait. I still may,
but not rig-
ht now t-

h.

:noclue:

S-
till p-
laying G-
od of War 3,
but I will be do-
ne with it soon en-
ough then it's back to
Final Fantasy XIII, and In-
famous, and Metal Gear Sol-

torstorm 2, and umm, I'm swamped.

Still trudging through Final Fantasy XIII. It may be linear, but it's still one long ride! I'm hoping to finish it before Splinter Cell comes out... and also wanna get into the "Awakening" DLC for DragonAge! :gamer:
