WB! 37kg lost? Fr srs? That's pretty impressive! :thumb:

Sorry to hear about Shorty, but it sounds like he had a long and worthwhile time with you guys.

And upgrading to a car with A/C is always a bonus.

Good to see you around again!

IT LIIIIIIIIVES!!!!! It's also significantly upgraded from before, and so is its caaaaaaar!!! Even my car doesn't have heated seats. Meh. :o :p That sucks about Shorty, though. 14-15 is a pretty decent age for a cat, at least, and Herr Lotte is doing OK. Is he still an uber stink machine? :x

So maybe now that you're in way better physical shape than before, you'll have more luck finding a job sometime soon. I'm sure some employer would look favorably upon how you've totally gotten your life together lately.

Welcome back, Wave!! Great to see ya back and hear all is well!! Not only well, but seemingly better for ya healthwise! If ya dropped all that weight just on exercise and dieting, big kudos! That's a huge (no pun intended) accomplishment! :thumb:

Sorry to hear about Shorty, though... never easy to lose a precious kittah. But sounds like ya got things well on track... just gotta get the job thing going and you're all set!

Thank you people...it's always feeling good coming back here. Should do that more often. ;)

Yep, Herr Lotte is still the überstinkmachine, especially when you lift him off the ground. Which isn't that easy, since he really is way too fat - my wife called him "the vacuum", since he used to clean the bowls in no time. Which was quite fatal since Shortys kidney diet was rich on calories...now, Lotte has only one bowl left which is filled with calorie reduced food. It will take some time but he will become a predator as lean and mean as me. :D

Seat heating rocks! Especially in the context that we are currently experiencing the strongest winter in 30 years. Since 5 weeks now, temperatures barely went above freezing, we had up to 8 inches of snow (grounds being covered almost continous, we have 2 inches at the moment) and a record low of -21°C (-5,8°F). Keep in mind that I'm living in an area which isn't really known for loads of snow, if one inch of that stuff lies for longer than 3 days, it's winter here...
...and for the first time in years, we have opted for all weather tires instead of winter rubbers. Fortunately, the all weathers are working quite good together with the electronic driving assist systems (traction control and electronic stability program) of our car.
All in all, spring can come now. I'm not really fond of cold weather.

Sub-zero temperatures even in Fahrenheit... man, that IS cold. :twitch: I don't think it's gotten below 0°F here in Columbus this winter, and pretty cold winters are fairly common around here. I hate winter in central Ohio, though. It ices more than it snows, there aren't any good hills to go sledding on anyway, it never snows or ices enough for me to get days of work off, and nobody around here knows how to drive in the snow unless they learned how to drive somewhere other than Columbus. In short, everything I used to like about the winter when I was a kid in the mountains now no longer applies. El blargfa. :dammit:
