Only 49 days till Halloween!!!!!!

Halloween is almost here!! Have you started planning yours yet???? I've been doing some shopping. Buying decorations and cards. Can never start too early. My neighbor had decorations out the Labor Day weekend!!! Loved seeing that. Even seen a few houses around town with yards already done up. I love this time of year.

It's funny that you posted this! I was JUST thinking today "Wow, Halloween will be here in a bit over a month!". Feels like summer slipped away so quick for some reason!

All I have so far is some Fall decor out....but getting there though!

With how insane it gets in this town, Halloween can take it's time It's already expected to be even more crazy than last year with Halloween falling on a Saturday night. Two weeks til nutballs from all over start converging on my lil hometown

That said, no decor up yet here... that'll be early October most likely.

Ah yes. Halloween. My favourite holiday of the year. When else can I sit on my deck mit gewehr and take pot shots at stupid chilluns passing by and get away with it by saying. "It's a costume."

I really need to get around to finding some kind of lightweight metal sheeting that I could use to make Candybot 9002. Covering a big cardboard box with foil only worked sorta well. Making the thing out of actual metal would look a lot better.

There isn't anybody in my parents' neighborhood like you, so I don't have to worry about that.

Hmmm... wonder how much a flight to whereever you are would be...

More than you have to spend right now. Besides, I'd just be sitting there in a box, which wouldn't make me very interesting to shoot at. I'm sure you'd rather hide in the bushes and shoot at annoying teenagers who show up with no costume and ask for candy, anyway.

Yeah, I do get a good deal of satisfaction out of that.

Last year, I forced those costume-less wankers to dance if they wanted candy. I did my usual robot voice and was like "You have no costume. Costume is required for candy dispensation. Otherwise, you must... dance. Dancing is also sufficient for candy dispensation." I think all but one of them actually danced for me, and some of them were pretty funny. I did stick to my word and give them candy afterwards, but at least I got to make them act stupid first. Maybe this year I should tell them to stand on their heads. That oughta be amusing.

Hopefully, I'll be allowed to give out candy this year. We have the cutest bunch of rugrats down the street (7; 3 boys, 4 girls; combo of his, hers, theirs) and they were super adorable last year.

Ohhh, I get it. I thought you meant there was some neighborhood safety reason or something and that they might not have allowed anybody to give out candy at all. Yeah, that would suck if you couldn't do it because your health still isn't quite up to speed yet. Hope you can manage to heal in time.

So what I need to do now is hurry up and figure out how I'm going to make Candybot 9002 for this year. The first one was just a giant cardboard box with writing on it, and the second was a giant cardboard box with foil over it to make it look more metallic. I'd really like to try and find some actual thin sheet metal somehow that I could bend into a box shape, but I'm not quite sure how I'd get a hold of that. Anybody got any ideas?
