know what you think of the dif-
ferent instruments and whi-
ch is your favorite, ok??
I have Left 4 Dead o-

Nice pick up, Masa! Have ya ever gotten into the music games at all previously? It's gets insanely addicting! :gamer: If Soloist ever plays it, we could have a band!

As for me, finished Eternal Sonata, but taking in a second round of it to see if I can attain some of the hidden extras. But of course, that's only gonna last until Fallout 3's 'Broken Steel' comes out next month... then after that will be Bionic Commando.

I'll try to get into Rock Band 2 today, since I'm off for
home repair reasons (which I've already taken c-
are of mostly) or at least test it out. A band
sounds nice if we can ever schedule the
time to meet periodically (though th-
is happened only once that I rem-
ember with Burnout, laughs).
Congratulations with Ete-
rnal Sonata, Roemello!
But what about the
other achievem-
ents in Gran-
d Theft A-
uto IV?

I 've played a little bit of each and I have to say, I like the drums. However, I am picking up the guitar faster. All I need is to learn where the buttons are without looking down and away from the screen. My main problem with the drums is trying to hit the pedal on cue. I tend to stop drumming to push or miss it completely. Also, the drumsticks are a little rough on my hands. I wonder if I can get a smooth pair to use?

My singing sounds like someone stepped on a cat. >.>

No. Not really. I've watched others play and have been interested, but just never got around to trying it for myself. The BBRT Band could totally take off...providing I can get off the Easy setting. =/

Also, how do you guys play the guitar? Do you use the wide buttons at the top or the smaller ones at the bottom?

 It takes a while to get used to, so don't feel bad about being on easy. I was on easy myself for quite a while before getting the hang of it enough to step up. Just keep playing until you're comfortable and start hitting songs 100%, then jump to medium. It's really trial by fire as the only way ya get used to the harder levels is to keep at 'em. Medium tends to be the level most play at online and such, so once you're at that point, you're set. I've gotten comfortable at the hard level now myself, but still need more improvement... getting better though!

As for the buttons, I use the wide ones up top... my fingers aren't huge, but those buttons at the bottom are too small to keep track of when trying to play on hard and shifting fast with that orange button :gamer: The top ones feel more natural as well.

As for the GTA achievements.. haven't quite been in the mood to get into that. I tried getting into the DLC a bit, but wasn't happening... that's on the hold-off til I'm up to it

My DS is collection is growing by leaps and bounds. Today I picked up:

A Mega Game Case with Yoshi on the front (holds 12 DS game cards.)
Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney
Phoenix Wright: Trials and Tribulations
Phoenix Wright: Justice For All
The Dark Spire
Rondo of Swords

For X-Box 360:

Oblivion: Game of the Year Edition
Pre-ordered Bioshock 2.

Ok, no more for awhile.

My word! Congratulations, Masa! You won't be
needing any other game for some time no-
w, and I'm referring to the acquisition
of just Oblivion (laughs)! I will be g-
etting that Dark Spire as well. It
is supposed to be rather hard-
core, so expect a challenge
when playing, especially
since weapons attrib-
utes are only men-
tioned, with no
description o-
r indicatio-
n as to h-
ow the
wea-
pon sta-
cks up aga-
inst your prev-
iously owned one.
Did you get the soun-
dtrack with yours? I com-
pletely forgot about this ga-
me and missed out on the opp-
ortunity to get the soundtrack, bu-
t a friend of mine will get it for me s-
ome time next week. I see you're in Pho-
enix Wright mode, eh (laughs)? I've never p-
layed a game in the series, but I am curious ab-
out it though. Maybe after I've acquired the games
that are on my mandatory list. Enjoy the titles, Masa!

Dark Spire comes in a box like Legacy of Ys did, so the soundtrack should be included with the game (providing you pick up a new, sealed copy like I did.)

My Gamestop guys were all smiles when I came in today. We chatted about some upcoming releases, Bioshock 2, Batman and the Batarang. I also informed them of the Amazon Ghostbusters Slimer Edition, which they excitedly added to their own pre-order lists. The manager even let me try out his DSi. Pretty nifty, but I'll have to wait to get one. Car insurance is due next week. :irked: I can't wait to bust open Oblivion. I heard it's like Fallout only no V.A.T.S and guns. All magic and medieval weaponry.

With the Ace Attorney series, I actually started off with the 4th game (Apollo Justice.) I liked it so decided when I come across the others, I'd get them. OBJECTION!!!!! :hammer:

Oblivion is ridiculously addictive :gamer: As good as Fallout 3 is, it still didn't keep me as obsessed as Oblivion did... no game has really. I felt so free and liberated when I finally finished it completely

Just about done with Eternal Sonata now... just gotta tie up a few loose ends and I should have this one 1000 point complete soon :dgrin: Not sure what's gonna be next... still got plenty of time before Broken Steel and Bionic Commando, so we'll see.

OBJECTION DENIED! OVERRULED! Laughs! I may have
to get involved in the Phoenix Wright series since
after reading more about, I've been much mor-
e interested in the series. The Dark Spire p-
ackage that you've received was specific-
ally for those who reserved it, and sin-
ce I forgot to, I won't be able to get
that version. A friend of mine ga-
ve me the music CD, so I'm ok.
Masa, don't forget that Supe-
r Robot Taisen is this wee-
k and it features a musi-
c CD for those who pre-
purchased the game.
What I favor conce-
rning Oblivion is
that even afte-
r completing
the main q-
uest, pla-
yers ca-
n still
go b-
ack
to
acc-
omplis-
h more in
the game. T-
oo bad there a-
re no more offici-
al updates for that g-
ame (sigh), but you will
love it (that is of you don't
mind the throw-back of a me-
dieval time period and can appr-
eciate the classic gameplay which i-
s completely lack that ever-so-wonder-
fly crafted V.A.T.S system... laughs). Co-
ngratutions on your progress, Roemello! I g-
uess you can afford to sit comfortably right ab-
out now by way of progress in achievement point
earning. Are there any other games that you have s-
ome degree of an interest in prior to BC's release I ask?

I never sit comfortably... too antsy  And I wasn't planning on any purchases, but then saw Best Buy's $10 sale in the flyers Saturday and that took care of that  So either today or Tuesday I'll be off to try and take advantage of it... if the titles I want amongst those on sale are available. Specifics to be disclosed in the thread ya started about the sale

Laughs! Well purchase up! As for myself, there are
quite a many titles being released this week t-
hat I wish to invest in (none of which are e-
ven 360 related... laughs). For the mom-
ent, I've just been making some prog-
ress in Sonic's Ultimate Genesis Co-
llection for nostalgia's sake. Asid-
e from that, I've yet to get into
Rock Band 2, Fable 2, Fallout
3, Ninja Gaiden II or any o-
f the older titles that I h-
ave purchased, but in
due time, and hope-
fully before the n-
ext big name t-
itle that I pla-
n to invest
in is rele-
ased: t-
hat b-
ein-
g:

Bionic Commando (5-19)

You gotta get into one of them big titles! I don't know how ya can resist for THIS long not playing through Fable 2 and Fallout 3 at least!! Ninja Gaiden II is another fun one, but the previous two.... MUST completes! :hammer:

Finished Eternal Sonata completely, so I'll probably be floating around various titles
