My uncle is in the hospital with a case of Cholecystitis. They had to remove his gallbladder and now have him hooked up to powerful antibiotics to fight an infection (bile leak,) that went throughout his body. He is improving, but a very close call.

The gall bladder is a royal pain in the ass for some people, isn't it? 
Been there with my mother, though not the exact same condition. She's fine now, best wishes for your family to come out as well.

Yikes... having your gall bladder out is normally a routine operation these days (it was for me and my dad, anyway). His must have been in really bad shape if it leaked bile like that. 
Well, at least they caught it before it got any worse. Hope he recovers all right.

He's home now (came home yesterday.) He doing fine. Feeling very blah, but glad to be home.
