I wouldn't say I'm a fan, but I do like a good bit of her earlier music from the 80s

A well deserved entry though as she put out quite a great many hits in her day!

I have lost all respect for the so-called Rock 'n Roll Hall of Fame. It no longer has credibility.

I like some of her songs...but too many Madonna songs in a row can be a bit tiring.

Madammit is NOT a rock singer. She's an over-the-hill pop star. If they ever build a pop hall of fame, she should be the first inductee. Who's next? Shawn Cassidy? Leif Garrett? Jessica Simpson? Britney Spears?

You are right. She really fits into the pop category. Maybe there is only one committee selecting ALL musicians and that's how she ended up being elected to be at the Rock n Roll of Fame.

I agree,Rock N Roll hall of fame is for people who play the instruments and work their butts off while playing those instruments.
Pop music is like rap music to me,not worth a damn.
I lost all respect for the RnR Hall of Fame after that.

That is true actually... if they're gonna add any kinda music, they should just rename it the music hall of fame, not rock 'n roll... there's a lot in there that hasn't a thing to do with true rock music, so it is a bit screwy and misleading in that way.
