I've talked to people who said their dog did this to them almost EVERY night, or else that it woke them up in the middle of the night simply because it was bored or something. Maybe they just have an evil or obnoxious dog and made no effort to train it to do otherwise... I dunno. :\ Either way, I'd rather not deal with the possibility. If I want kids someday, that'll be enough loss of sleep at first as it is.

And that the other half of the equation which I don't wanna deal with. :x  Granted, my cats do somehow manage to get their crap on the floor outside the litterbox on occasion, either because they couldn't make it to the box on time or accidentally kicked it out of the box when trying to cover it up, but it's been pretty rare and never all that gross or hard to clean up. Cat crap is, thankfully, proportionately small to the cats themselves.

I guess I've just managed to run across the people who have wonky dogs, then. I'm still never gonna even consider getting any dogs until I can move out to the country, where there's space for them to run around, though. I have neither the time nor the willpower right now to take them for walks daily, let alone the living space to keep them in. :\ Plus I kiiiinda have two cats already. Slight issue there. :p
