Re: Portable MP3 players

Lately, I've been getting bored with my Sony. Yesterday, I was in FUTURE SHOP and they had the 8 GB Microsoft Zune (with free arm band) on sale for $99, so naturally I had to get (a blue) one and I must say, it blows the Sony right out of the water. I could have waited for the new Zune HD, but I don...

Re: New Canadian Citizenship Law

For me, the rest of Canada outside of Ontario is like foreign land. Where I live, you wouldn't even know it was Canada .. no one speaks the infamous "eh" language. My relatives in North Ontario all have Canadian accents, i still find it quite bizarre.

Re: New Canadian Citizenship Law

That commercial is pretty bad, which is really how you know it's Canadian. We never have the best commercials by far of anything LOL I am still having troubles accepting the fact that Paula Abdul is now Canadian. Radios still play her songs enough, but now they can play her songs even more to meet t...

New Canadian Citizenship Law

It's not really new, I'm just a little late in hearing about it LOL On April 17, 2009, a new law in Canada was granted that states anyone born outside of Canada on or after January 1, 1947 to atleast one Canadian born parent is automatically granted Canadian Citizenship effective on the date of thei...

Re: Your Favorite bands/artists

In today's music, my favourite band are the Manic Street Preachers. They are an Alternative Rock group from Wales who have been churning out hits since 1991. They are almost unknown in North America, but they still hold a massive fan base in the UK Their version of the Theme From M*A*S*H (which was ...

Re: Some Facts behind the Tracks

The lyric "I Want My MTV" which Sting sings in the 1986 Dire Straits hit 'Money For Nothing', was a loose re-write of his 1980 Police hit 'Don't Stand So Close to Me'. Because of this, Sting is credited as co-writer and received 50% of the song's royalties

Re: Do you read product reviews before purchasing it?

I sometimes do, but after buying BANGKOK DANGEROUS on Blu-Ray, I don't think I will anymore. Reviews I read said it was a must have for action fans. So I bought it thinking it was good, and man was it ever a terrible movie

Have a pot luck. A free haklf hour or so where you all gather together and eat.

Where I work, every so often they give us potlucks where we each bring something in, and the bosses barbeque hot dogs and hamburgers that they provide

Re: Portable MP3 players

All my songs were already in mp3 form, so I didn't have to do anything other than figure out how to add them all the the Windows Media Player library and sync the mp3 player to that. I don't normally use WMP for much of anything, so it took me a little while to get it to do what I wanted, but now t...

Re: Portable MP3 players

Nice, nice. I have a very similar Sony video mp3 player, but it has 8 GB instead of 4 and the buttons are laid out a little bit differently: http://www.sonystyle.com/wcsstore/SonyStyleStorefrontAssetStore/img/718x407/NWZA728BLK.png I've been really happy with it so far. Its ability to let me ...
