Re: Are you worried about the current worldwide financial crisis
I'm not too worried right now. The economy in Michigan really, really, really sucks right now, but my job is secure, so I'm okay for awhile. Things will turn around sometime so I'm just riding it out.

Re: Have any new pictures of YOUR pets?
She's also much more picky about food and kitty litter. How picky is she? Reminds me of my Casey. He used to be quite finicky and if you fed him Fancy Feast, he'd eat the gravy and leave the rest. Now...both of my owls are absolute PIGS. You can feed them any brand and any flavor and they'll clean ...

Re: Have any new pictures of YOUR pets?
I took my kitties to the vet last weekend and wound up with one bite and one peed-on shirt. Kisa turned into a tasmanian devil over the whole thing and Muzby climbed under the front seat of the car and we couldn't get him out for awhile.

Re: Does your cat play with toys?
My cats have a basket full of toys, but Kisa doesn't really play with anything and Muzby mostly prefers things that aren't really toys, like wine corks and cotton balls. Both of them love the laser pointer though.

My masseuse has an infrared sauna that I might try one of these days. It's supposed to warm up your muscles to make the massage more effective.

Re: Is Sarah Palin fit to be Vice President of the United States
I can only tell you this: let a woman* get a grip on political power and see how your country's getting even more screwed up. And believe me - I do speak of experience. (* DISCLAIMER: of course, this is no general statement - for example, my g/f would make a very good gouvernor of our country. At l...

Re: Is Sarah Palin fit to be Vice President of the United States
I am sure this has been mentioned in this thread at least once. We are not electing the vice president. However, McCain did have his choice of 2 or 3 other potential woman VP candidates. My guess he wanted one to have more appeal to America. Now the real issue for me is Obama's ability to lead a co...

Re: Is Sarah Palin fit to be Vice President of the United States
I live in close proximity to the Pacific Ocean. I've never studied marine life or ocean geography in college. But I just live near an ocean. That makes me an expert on oceans and ocean life. Guess I know about volcanoes since I live about 75 miles from one. I agree that this woman is just c...

Re: Which bank do you use?
I use Comerica and I also have a credit union account in my hometown. I kept it so my mom & I can send money back and forth if necessary. I'm thinking of switching my Comerica account to a credit union (one that's close to me). Comerica charges for online banking and the credit union I'm looking...

Re: Have any new pictures of YOUR pets?
Oh yeah, I forgot i have fish. LOL Muzby is 7 and Kisa is 9. Muzby is much friendlier, nosier and causes trouble in a more obvious way. He's the one who attacks his sister and talks to the "other" cat in the bathroom mirror. He even opens the medicine cabinet to find the other cat. LOL Muz...

Re: Is Sarah Palin fit to be Vice President of the United States
Okay, do you think anybody would really cut taxes for real? Of course not. Hell, we have a $700B bill to pay now. McCain is talking about a $5000 insurance credit that we would never actually see, but would be taxed on. No matter who's on office, we'll be paying taxes. It's not like anybody's going ...
